Communiqué to support the abolition of hunting in the Monte Ulia
SEO / BirdLife, Eguzki, Basque Camping Club and the Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago in Gipuzkoa, support the decision to request Donostia the abolition of hunting in the Mount Ulia.
donostiarras Conservation groups are asking the City Council for years a review of the declaration of safety zone created in 1989 by which restricted the exercise of hunting in the interest of safety of persons and property.
Ulia is a mountain that in practice, though not legally yet, is a public park, both in design, and above all the use they make of citizens, so the hunting is incompatible and dangerous to that enjoyment.

SEO/BirdLife, EGUZKI, Club Vasco de Camping, eta Gipuzkoako Santiago-Bide Lagunen Elkartea, Donostiako Udalak Ulian ehiza ezabatzeko egin duen eskaeraren alde
Azken urteotan, Donostiako talde naturzaleek behin baino gehiagotan eskatu diogu Udalari Segurtasun Eremua berraztertzeko. Eremua 1989an eratu zen. Horren bidez, ehiza mugatu egin zen, pertsonen eta beren ondasunen segurtasuna helburu.
Ulia, legez oraindik ez, baina, praktikan, parke publikoa da. Bere ezaugarriak direla-eta, parke publikoa da, baina parke publikoa da batez ere herritarrek parke publiko bezala erabiltzen dutelako. Ehiza ezin da erabilpen horrekin bateratu eta, gainera, arriskutsua da.

Donostiako Udalari bide beretik jarraitzeko deia egiten diogu; Ulia hobetzen jarraitzeko eta ehiza udalerri osoan behin betiko desager dadin lanean jarraitzeko deia egiten diogu.
